Dr. Michelle Firlit is a highly skilled physician specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Originally from Canada, she completed her medical training and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chicago, Illinois. She further honed her expertise through fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, focusing on managing high-risk pregnancies. Her clinical and research interests include prenatal diagnosis, preterm birth prevention, and the use of biomarkers to improve early detection of neonatal and maternal complications.

Dr. Firlit joined The Perinatal Center in August 2025. She is dedicated to combining compassionate, patient-centered care with evidence-based medicine. She is actively engaged in advancing perinatal research, mentoring future physicians, and collaborating across specialties to improve outcomes for mothers and infants. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, especially around water, and spending time with her fiancé and dogs.
