Katie Burr grew up in upstate New York. She attended Oral Robert’s University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She then returned to New York and worked as a labor and delivery nurse before going on for her master’s degree. She attended Stony Brook University where she graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing & Midwifery. She worked in a private practice midwifery group in New York from before moving back to Oklahoma to become a midwife with the University of Oklahoma in 2013. Katie joined The Perinatal Center in September 2020.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, reading, and home decorating.
