Testimonials

Our Family Thanks You!

The Mack Family would like to say thank you to Dr. Stanley and staff. In 2006 we lost our baby boy to premature death due to what was believed to be an incompetent cervix. In 2012, at 20 weeks pregnant, Dr. Stanley took us on. After 16 weeks of bedrest, Aubree was born at 36 weeks via C-section. He told us that next time we got pregnant he would take care of the cerclage and to come to him from the beginning. So we did! Guess what... 40 weeks passed and I was still pregnant! Alexa was born after 40 weeks and 4 days and she was our first vaginal delivery. We cannot thank Dr. Stanley and staff enough for always being so kind and guiding us through our pregnancies. We know it is what you do for a living and sometimes may go unnoticed, but to our family you have changed us forever and for the better each time. We are truly blessed to have a wonderful Doctor and caring nurses and staff.

Our Family is Very Appreciative

Just wanted to say thank you again for all 3 of you seeing me while I was at Mercy hospital. Blake's birth was very overwhelming and you all helped to calm my fears. Our family is very appreciative. Thanks again!

Thank You Dr. Smith

I first met Jennifer Smith, M.D. during a consultation appointment prior to becoming pregnant.  We had a difficult journey to that point and I was under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist.  I had previously been diagnosed with ITP, an autoimmune disorder causing low platelets.  Dr. Smith was so kind to take time out of her busy day and meet with me, discussing how a pregnancy would advance under her care.  She was reassuring, thoughtful, honest and willing to answer any and all questions.

Dr. Smith followed me throughout my first term pregnancy.  She was very attentive to the health risks for my baby as well as myself.  I was admitted to the hospital for treatments prior to delivery and Dr. Smith visited me daily in addition to discussing my care with my hematologist.  Dr. Smith provided her input and advice, while remaining compassionate and understanding of the anxiety involved.  With her knowledge and skill, a happy healthy baby boy was successfully delivered.

Forever Grateful!

Our family is forever indebted to Dr. Jennifer Smith and the wonderful people at the Perinatal Center. After many years of unsuccessful rounds of IVF and a miscarriage, we were very nervous and scared throughout our pregnancy. Dr. Smith's combination of medical excellence and compassion were invaluable throughout our high risk pregnancy. Dr. Smith and her staff were so caring and responsive to our needs, they became a vital part of our pregnancy journey. Thanks to Dr. Smith, our twins were born healthy and full term in August 2015. We then got the surprise of a lifetime when we became pregnant again shortly thereafter. We felt like we were being welcomed back by family during that pregnancy. We truly feel that Dr. Smith is our guardian angel and that we would not have our three healthy, happy kids without Dr. Smith and her staff.

Excellent and Thorough Care

Our sweet baby girl showed signs of growth restriction (IUGR) very early on starting at 14 weeks, caught by the Perinatal Center's high resolution ultrasounds. I stayed under Dr. Rosnes' care throughout the pregnancy, being monitored extremely closely. Eventually Dr. Rosnes caught that the umbilical cord was not flowing as well as it should have been. Dr. Rosnes showed extreme dedication and monitored the cord flow twice weekly. At one point, the cord flow was so low he determined I needed to be hospitalized for daily monitoring. I was so impressed by his care during my hospitalization; Dr. Rosnes came over himself every day to check on me and perform my scans himself, even over the weekend. I was so impressed by his dedication and care for me and my baby. To be very honest, I truly believe my daughter is alive today only because of his excellent and thorough care in such a high risk situation.
Dr. Rosnes determined she needed to be delivered early to avoid the cord flow stopping; she was born at 35 weeks at 3 lb 5 oz and is our little miracle. She's now a beautiful and happy one year old baby girl. Thank you so much, Dr. Rosnes, for your dedication and care for my baby's life.

We Appreciate Your Kindness

Dr. Deschamps, Angelique & staff - Thank you for taking such good care of me during our pregnancy. While early, Sully was born healthy and so much of that has to do with your commitment to our well-being. I hope you know how much we appreciate your kindness.
